Fresh Roots Distribution operates out of a warehouse on Davand Drive in Mississauga — minutes from the Ontario Food Terminal and the 401 interchange. We're new as a company, honest about that, and that's part of the point.
Most of our volume moves direct from the Ontario Food Terminal. We hold specialty items from regional growers and importers in our warehouse. The path from supplier to your back door is short on purpose — fewer hands, fewer markup layers, fresher product on arrival.
Routes go out nightly. Drivers drop before service so your prep team walks into a stocked line instead of waiting on a mid-morning delivery.
Broadline distributors are built for scale. That means minimums you have to hit, call centers you have to navigate, and ordering portals that change twice a year. It works for chains. It’s painful for independents.

The industrial corridor between Mississauga and the Ontario Food Terminal is where most of the GTA’s fresh produce moves through. Being inside that corridor matters: product leaves the terminal in the morning and sits in our cold storage by midday, ready for the night’s routes.
